Laura McKenzie is the number one television travel expert in the country, seen often on the Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Entertainment Tonight, Extra and Oprah as a travel expert. Her trademark blonde hair and travel savvy have made her a household name in consumer reporting. The New York Times called her the "David Horowitz" of travel advice, and her knack for "telling it like it really is", has earned her the respect of travel industry professionals. 

She has written and hosted 42 home videos on travel for Republic Pictures, titled, "Laura McKenzie's Travel Tips Home Videos" with top selling titles including London, Paris, Athens, and Rome.

  

Her home video "Hawaii" won the Billboard Number #1 award and "Video of the Decade" in the special interest category.

  

Her travel reports are heard on the Westwood One and NBC radio networks in the "America in the Morning" show, with favorite topics from business travel tips to travel gadget reviews.

She currently co hosts the "American Adventurer" series with Erik Estrada, now in it's 10th season, seen on KCAL 9 in Los Angeles, as well as being syndicated across the country on over 170 stations, and in over 100 countries. Laura and Erik won a Telly Award for "Best Hosts".

 

  

Laura spends most of her time traveling the world to tape her new series. It is the first travel magazine program to be shot on the new High Definition television system and is syndicated all over the country.
